Improv Level 2 


This Improv Level 2 course is for those having either completed Learn To Improvise or have an equivalent Level 1 experience. 

You will learn:

  • To become confident in your use of Improv's core skills  
  • To perform various group formats and structures
  • To  be able to switch back and forth between characters 

As part of the course you will be taught the language and culture of Improv, as well as how to form and manage your own Improv troop. 

At the end of this course, there will be an optional showcase in Carleton Hall, Marino, where friends and family may be invited to see you use your new skills live on stage. If you decide to take part in the showcase, you will be thoroughly supported and coached by your instructor Tim Manning. If you decide not to take part in the showcase, you will still be able to take part in the coaching.

What: Subjects include various Improv shortform games and Improv longform formats such as the Armando, the Living Room and La Ronde.

When: 6 Week Workshop Tuesdays from 7pm to 9:30pm: September 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd & 30th, October 7th & 14th.
